Prof. Dr. Moustapha Hamdi is board certifies plastic surgeon in both Belgium and Spain. Graduated at the University of Damascus in Syria in Medicine and Surgery in 1990, he moved to Belgium to complete an internship in general and plastic surgery in 1997.
Between 1999 and 2011, Professor Hamdi was one of faculty members of the Plastic Surgery Department in Gent University Hospital where he also presented his doctoral thesis PhD in 2007. He was the winner of American /European association for plastic surgery prize in aesthetic surgery.Prof. Hamdi is the only double-winner of the prestigious Hans Anderl’s award for the best scientific publications by EURAPS in 2005 and 2011.He is currently the head of plastic, reconstructive and aesthetic surgery department of Free University of Brussels since 2011 and chairman of the Brussels plastic surgery network-private hospitals CHIREC since 2025.

Prof. Hamdi has personally trained more than 700 surgeons from 80 countries on his breakthrough procedures. He instructs by performing live-surgery demonstrations and one-on-one examinations with his patients. Many of the surgeons who learned his techniques from many international meetings and courses and also by attending the world recognized meeting in aesthetic and reconstructive surgery in Brussels »CATBBAS« and returned home and applied his techniques to benefit their own patients.

With Brussels being his home base as he the founder and director of »Ogeeplast Clinic«, Prof. Hamdi is world-renown plastic surgeon for breast, body and face reconstructive and aesthetic surgery as he is the founder and innovator of many surgical techniques such as “The Inner Bra Mastopexy” and many others in breast aesthetic surgery.
