Can any type of scar be corrected?
95% of scars can be improved, but scars such as burns, scalds, keloid or very large scars may not be suitable for correction.
What about Tattoos, can they be removed?
Small tattoos can be removed surgically if they are placed where there is some movement in the skin, to enable the surgeon to bring the edges closely together, but you would have a scar afterwards.
Do I have to go into hospital?
No, scar correction can be done in our clinic on an outpatient basis, using local anaesthetic.
