Where will the scars be after a Breast Reduction?

The scars will be around the nipple, vertically down from the nipple to the breast crease, and , if a large amount of tissue needs to be removed, along the breast crease itself.

Will I lose sensitivity after a Breast Reduction/ Reconstruction?

It depends on the extent of the surgery, but loss of sensation is rarely permanent.

How long does the Breast Reduction surgery take?

The surgery takes between 2-4 hours, depending how exstensive the reduction is.

Can I breastfeed after having a Breast Reduction?

During this type of surgery the nipples are moved to a new position, so breast feeding is not always possible afterwards.

Could my breasts “grow” again?

No, once breast tissue is removed the result is permanent, but the breasts can still “sag” over time.
